Wearing a bracelet as a reminder to reach a health behavoir goal (as part of a resiliency training approach) has been shown to improve physiological outcomes in people with type 2 diabetes.
The health behavior changes that participants were encouraged to change were related to making improvements in healthy eating, increasing physical activity, taking medications on time and monitoring bloog glucose levels.
